District Superintendent
Rev. Larry Thompson is our Distict Superintendent. ReverendThompson has formerly served as pastor at Asbury UMC in the Harrisonburg District, and has also served churches in Woodbridge, Front Royal, Powhatan, Salem, Covington, Staunton and Wirtz (Danville District). He also served as president of the Virginia Council of Churches from 2001-2002. Rev. Thompson is a graduate of Eastern Mennonite Seminary. He can be reached by email at winchesterds@vaumc.org.

Administrative Assistant
Mrs. Sheryl I. Pifer is our Administrative Assistant. Sheryl and husband Larry reside in Toms Brook, VA. They have two grown sons, Owen (and wife Valerie) and Aaron, three grandchildren, Alyssa, Jordon and Miles, a Golden Retriever, and three cats. Financial Administrator
Mrs. Melanie Melester is our Financial Administrator takes care of the financial needs of the office. She keeps our books in order while assisting the District Superintendent and all of the clergy and laity when they come into the office.
